$60,000 in 60 Days – A Special Campaign to honor President Brown and Vice President Ross
On September 30, 2018, President Steve Brown and Vice President Wes Ross retired from full-time leadership of the Berkshire Institute for Christian Studies after thirty years of faithful service. They piloted the Institute from its inception in 1988 and have shepherded nearly 400 students through our one-year discipleship program.
In recognition of their sixty combined years of dedicated and sacrificial service to BICS, we’re launching a special campaign to honor these two men. Through our “60-in-60” initiative we’re seeking to raise $60,000 over the next 60 days. We’ll share the progress toward our goal at the Retirement Celebration in their honor on May 10, 2019 before concluding the campaign at the end of May.
By giving to this “60-in-60” fund in their honor, you are helping to build on the life’s investment of both President Brown and Vice President Ross and further the impact of BICS in the years ahead. These funds will be used to advance our efforts in ways that directly benefit our students. We are planning significant upgrades to improve the residential experience at our two dorms, and we are looking to enhance the use of technology in the classroom and beyond in order to better serve a new generation of students.
Through both enhancement and innovation, the funds given in honor of these two founders will carry forward our commitment to Christian Discipleship in a Caring Community. Will you consider a monetary gift to help us raise $60,000 in the next 60 days?
You can give online or you can mail your gift to PO Box 1888 Lenox, MA 01240 (being sure to indicate “60 in 60” in the memo line).
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact President Rice.
