Alumni from the Berkshire Institute for Christian Studies have gone on to a wide variety of successes. We have had students pursue higher education at Bible colleges and seminaries and then proceed to full-time ministry. Others pursue higher education at colleges and universities or receive some other vocational training and then go on to a variety of fields, including: education, health, business, the trades, and many others.

Because BICS is not solely an educational institution, but rather a year of Christian discipleship, the success of the BICS program is not limited to further education. Our alumni have built a basis for Christian living that allows them to use their BICS experience in many different vocational and ministerial settings.

Alumni Encouragement Scholarship

As a graduate of BICS, you know well the impact of our program, and you likely know others who would benefit from a year of intensive discipleship in community. So we’ve created the Alumni Encouragement Scholarship with you in mind!

Through this scholarship, each of our alumni is empowered to recommend a prospective student to receive a $250 award. When you refer a student to BICS by filling out the recommendation form before he/she applies, that student will receive the scholarship in your name. (Note: this award cannot be combined with the Alumni Child or Alumni Sibling awards. Only one scholarship may be given per alumni and per student in a given year).

Do you know of someone who might do well at BICS? Take a few moments to let us know by using the Alumni Encouragement Scholarship recommendation form

Giving to BICS

Gifts to support the ministry of BICS are gratefully received as charitable contributions to further our mission as a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Would you consider giving to our general fund? Or perhaps making a contribution to our DiscipleBuilder Scholarship Fund?
